passed away Tuesday, May 30 at the age of 77.
Gary taught classes at Northwest Christian in the 1990's and served as part-time campus chaplain for several years. Wells was a minister for more than 50 years serving churches in Oregon, California, and Indiana. He retired from full-time ministry in 1994 from Northwood Christian Church of Springfield, Ore.
Survivors include his wife, Hallie Morris Wells '55; two daughters, Linda Wells of Seattle and Janet Wells of Springfield; three sons, David of Mesa, Ariz., Timothy '80 of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jonathan of Escondido, Calif.; a brother, William of Redmond, a sister, Dorothy Walker of Cle Elum, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
